Frequently Asked Questions

What types of payment do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Where are you located?

I am seeing clients in-person in the Monrovia/Arcadia area of LA. I see clients via telehealth throughout California!

How do I prepare for a telehealth session?

To prepare for your telehealth session, you’ll want to make sure you are (1) at home, in a private space where you can talk without being overheard; (2) have reliable internet access and sufficient battery charge or power for your electronic device (3) have downloaded the Simple Practice app on your phone, if you plan to join the session via your phone; (4) have water, a blanket, or whatever you need in order to feel comfortable.

What can I expect therapy to be like?

Before our first session, I’ll send you forms to fill out. Some of them will be consent forms and practice information–more logistical. Some will be measures and questionnaires to help me get some information for you so that I can prepare for our first meeting. In the initial sessions, we’ll be getting to know each other, getting a big picture idea of your goals, current challenges, and context. We’ll develop a treatment plan together, which will provide further context for our work. The middle section of therapy will somewhat depend on what style works for you, and fits your needs. You and I will collaborate to make sure that we are engaging in therapy in a way that works for you and promotes your wellbeing.

What is a “consultation” call?

I offer free 15-20 minute “consultation calls.” During these calls, you can ask me any questions you have about my practice, or the logistics of therapy. You can also tell me more about what you are looking for, or what has brought you to exploring therapy services. Starting therapy can feel daunting and it can be hard to know whether someone fits your vibe, without talking to them first. The purpose of this call is for you to get a sense for whether I might be a good fit for you! These calls are low-pressure, with no expectations, commitment, or strings attached.

What age group do you work with?

I work with children as young as 4 years old, as well as teens and adults. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group, whether we’re using play-based therapy with young children, supporting teens through life transitions, or helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, or other life challenges.
