Child Therapy

I offer therapy for children ages 4 and up to support emotional growth, healing, and resilience. Many of the children I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma, or low self-esteem. Whether they’re facing big life changes or internal struggles, therapy provides a space where they can feel seen, supported, and safe.

My approach with children is play-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate. Play is a child’s natural language—and through it, they process experiences, build confidence, and develop coping skills. I create a calm, reflective space where children can express themselves freely, whether through art, storytelling, games, or imaginative play. For children impacted by trauma, I thoughtfully integrate EMDR techniques in a way that fits their developmental stage and readiness.

Parents and caregivers play a key role in the therapy process. I collaborate closely with families, sometimes including parents in sessions or meeting separately in collateral sessions to support the child’s progress. All child sessions are held in person to allow for the most engaging and effective therapeutic work. Sessions are typically held weekly.

Working with children is a joy—I’m continually inspired by their creativity, emotional depth, and natural drive toward healing.
