A Place to Pause, Understand Your Story, and Move Forward
Holistic + Compassionate Therapy

Maybe you’ve been trying to figure things out on your own for a long time. You’re smart, self-aware, and reflective, but you still feel stuck in loops that drain your energy or make you doubt yourself.
You might have spent years trying to make sense of your reactions. Some days you hold it all together, and other days something small can knock everything off balance.
Maybe you’ve tried to reason your way through it or push the feelings down, but the same patterns keep showing up in your thoughts, your relationships, or the way your body reacts.
Hi there, I’m Emma, a therapist in the San Gabriel Valley in California. I help people slow down enough to hear what their mind and body have been trying to say. We look at your experiences with curiosity and depth so you don’t have to keep guessing why certain moments feel so charged or why OCD patterns or past wounds seem to ripple into the present.
In our work together, you’ll start to see the threads that connect your history to your reactions.
You’ll learn what your nervous system needs to feel steadier and what supports your capacity to move through difficult moments without getting swept away.
This is a space where you can bring every part of yourself. Nothing is too much, and nothing is too confusing to explore.
What It’s Like To Work With Me
I believe that therapy should be unique and tailored to you. That’s why I integrate evidence-based treatments, like EMDR, exposure therapy, ACT, parts work, and relational approaches, to create therapy that truly fits you.
I’m constantly learning as a person and as a therapist, and I bring that expertise and curiosity to our work together.

During our time together, you can expect:
- A safe space to explore all parts of yourself
- Practical tools for managing anxiety, obsessive thoughts, or trauma reactions
- An experiential approach like exposure therapy, parts work, or EMDR, to create lasting change
- Compassionate guidance to understand your brain and body, not just your emotions
- Support for healing and growth
I take a context-focused approach to therapy. We look at what is happening in your life right now and how it connects to your history and patterns. I am genuinely curious about who you are, what matters to you, and what is getting in the way of living the life you want. Together, we explore both the challenges and your untapped strengths.

OCD Therapy
When you’re living with OCD, your mind can feel loud and relentless. You might find yourself checking, fixing, repeating, or analyzing things far more than you’d like. Even when you logically know a fear isn’t true, the “what if” still grabs hold. It’s tiring. It can make everyday tasks feel overwhelming and steal the joy from things you care about.
OCD therapy helps you understand what’s happening in your brain so you don’t blame yourself for patterns you didn’t choose. We work together to separate you from the intrusive thoughts, reduce the pressure of compulsions, and build a calmer, more flexible response to uncertainty.
When helpful, I use exposure and response prevention in a safe, collaborative way, always at a pace that feels doable.
Trauma Therapy
If something painful has shaped your past, chances are that you still feel echoes of it today.
You may notice yourself shutting down, becoming easily overwhelmed, or responding in ways that don’t match the current situation. It can feel like you’re constantly running, sometimes from people, sometimes from your own thoughts. Relationships feel confusing or draining. You want closeness, but you also pull away. And deep down, you may feel like you don’t fully belong anywhere, not even in your own body.

You may even start to question your own reactions or instincts.
Trauma therapy gives you a supportive place to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
We move gently, building safety in your body and exploring the patterns that developed to protect you. I use approaches like attachment focused EMDR, parts work, and mind-body awareness to help you reconnect with your inner strength and heal at a pace that feels right for you.
EMDR Therapy

Sometimes your mind knows you’re safe, but your body hasn’t caught up. EMDR therapy helps bridge that gap. It supports you in processing experiences your nervous system is still holding onto, whether from recent stress, childhood memories, or patterns that have been hard to shift.
Before we go anywhere near difficult experiences, we start by amplifying your internal strengths to help you feel more centered and grounded. Then we move into the EMDR work at your pace, targeting memories or themes that your system is ready to process.
EMDR helps your brain reorganize old information so it stops showing up as anxiety, fear, self-doubt, or overwhelm. EMDR played an important role in my own healing, and I carry that experience into the work I do now. My hope is that it can open a path toward relief and clarity for you as well.
